Birre sotto l'albero 2011: Reportage

Birre sotto l'albero 2011 @ Ma che siete venuti a fà + Bir&Fud

Va in archivio la quinta edizione di Birre sotto l'albero. Il "festival" trasteverino dedicato alle birre natalizie ha riscosso anche quest'anno un successo straordinario. Luogo dell'evento, l'ormai famosa Via Benedetta, ribattezzata "Via del Luppolo" dagli appassionati. Oltre 40 birre natalizie alla spina a rotazione, metà italiane (presentate al Bir&Fud) e metà provenienti dal resto del mondo (al Ma che siete venuti a fà), con tre guest star d'eccezione (nel senso di birre non propriamente pensate come "natalizie"): la Tipopils del Birrificio Italiano, ormai un classico al Macche, la morbida Zwickel di Gänstaller, tra le migliori interpretazioni di questo stile, e la Fou' Foune di Cantillon, vera e propria "chicca" della manifestazione. Tra le altre birre presenti segnaliamo la versione della Viola Sofia di Grassroots invecchiata in botte, le due "mummie" di Montegioco (una con base Rurale, l'altra con base MacRuna), la Carrobiolo 1111, la Dr. IPA (Double Rice IPA) del birrificio americano Kuhnhenn e i grandi classici belgi, dalla Avec les Bons Voeux, Saison natalizia della Brasserie Dupont, alla straordinaria Stille Nacht 2011. Tantissime le birre, tantissima l'attesa, andiamo a scoprire insieme com'è andata.
